1.19.0->1.19.1 using patch file?

There is a patch file to go from 1.19.0 to 1.19.1. What is the Linux
command line to apply this patch cleanly to a live installation of
1.19.0? Is there one?

The command is "patch -p1 < patch.diff" while cd'd into your directory
iirc... well, atleast thats what I grabbed from my custom bash script :/
