1/2 Wysiwyg

On the WYSIWYG topic, what about a demi-WYSIWYG?

It would work like a plug-in app, maybe Java or Java Script, where a right-clicked
menu would bring up several funcionalities. For instance, it would bring
up a table editor. Once done, upon closing it would place in the clipboard
a full wiki formated table, to be pasted wherever you wanted.

This way, you wouldn't have to worry about any front-end breaking wiki formating
but you wouldn?t be totally helpless against such a boring task as formating
a table - or the like.

Too backwards work could it: copy a table to the clipboard, open your plugin
and have it pasted. Voilá: edit the table and clipboard it back.

You could call it edit-on-the-spot, heh?

Best regards,

any html editor do that (don't forget html tables are
mediawiki compatible)

I often think html tables as simpler than mediawiki's :-()
