Adding footer to all pages?

Leon Kolchinsky
Hello All,

One of our wiki's administrators whant to add the following snippet to all pages of the wiki:

<a rel="license" href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/il/">
<img alt="Creative Commons License" style="border-width:0" src="http://i.creativecommons.org/l/by/2.5/il/88x31.png" />
</a>
<br />
<span dir="rtl">יצירה זו מופצת תחת
<a rel="license" href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/il/">רישיון ייחוס 2.5 ישראל של Creative Commons</a>.</span>

What is the best way of doing it?

Best Regards,
Leon

If your wiki uses the skin MonoBook you can...
(1) open the file: skins/MonoBook.php
(2) around 270 line, before closing the div #footer write:
<span id="subfooter">
-- put your content here --
</span>

(3) Then you can control the visual aspect througt the file:
skins/monobook/main.css

Thanks to all who helped me :)

The solution from Diogo B. Tridapalli is what I wanted:

At LocalSettings.php:

$wgRightsUrl = "http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/il/";
$wgRightsText = "Creative Commons License";
$wgRightsIcon = "http://i.creativecommons.org/l/by/2.5/il/88x31.png%22";

Best Regards,

MediaWiki on an USB key?

Jefsey
Is it possible to install MediaWiki on an USB key under Windows?
Using Mov'AMP or XAMPP?
If yes, would it be documented somewhere?
Thank you!

Are you wanting this for a temporary host, or for an offline copy of a
wiki? There are CDs of Wikipedia content, and I would imagine the
software they use is free, you could look up that and see if it can be
made to fit your purpose.

I just want to install MediaWiki on an USB key as a local host.  To
look at a CD is also a good idea, if there is no other tailor made
install but they may lack all the editing tools.
Thank you!

They lack them, not only for being a read-only medium but by how they're
designed.

Yes, it is.

 >>> Using Mov'AMP or XAMPP?
I have heard of Mediawikis running on XAMPP USBs.

 >>> If yes, would it be documented somewhere?
When you have XAMPP running, just do a normal mediawiki install. If
mysql is running on the USB, then the articles will be at the usb. Image
uploads are stored relative to the mediawiki folder, so they'll also be.
