Jira and Wiki to vanish

Marlen Caemmerer-3
Hello,

the server that runs Jira, Wiki and replications is to vanish since the data center will be canceled after Friday.

This means: if you want to keep some pages of the wiki or jira tickets please start your final backup now.
It will be offline after Friday morning UTC.

I personally kept some pages of the wiki to make the shutdown of TS itself easier for me. I printed them to PDF from the print view.
Got me a good layout and all external links.

Toolserver will still serve what it served before - redirects and one or 2 tools, that are still in migration process.
Mail, DNS and Web will work but the database content will not be renewed after Friday morning.

Cheers

I thought the wiki was scheduled to be backed up and moved to a WMF-hosted (read-only) version? In any case, could you provide an XML backup (i.e. via dumpBackup.php / https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Backing_up_a_wiki#Backup_the_content_of_the_wiki_.28XML_dump.29) so it can be imported at a later point in time?

Also, if you need JIRA tickets to be migrated to bugzilla, please follow the following steps:

1) In JIRA, Under Administration, <your project>, People, add 'Bugzilla Bug Exporter (valhallasw)' to 'Administrators' and click 'Update'. Otherwise, the bot cannot close the bug.

3) I will migrate your bugs for you (not every JIRA option is supported, but plain bugs work well)! See https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59074 for an example of what the converted bug looks like.

Merlijn

I used dumpBackup.php --full to get all revisions into a gz file that I copied.
If anyone wants it let me know.
