SF: Problems with uploadable fields and special characters

Hi,

when using uploadable fields in Semantic Forms, there seeme to be a problem when using special characters (e. g. German Umlauts like üöä). In the form the display is wrong (see screenshot) and in the resulting document, the file is missing altogether. However, the file gets uploaded correctly: it is shown in the list of uploaded documents with the correnhct filename including the special chars...

MySQL 5.1.63-cll
Semantic Forms (Version 2.4.2)
Semantic Forms Inputs (Version 0.6)
Semantic MediaWiki (Version 1.7.1)

Hi Bernhard,

Yes, this has been a known bug for a while. One person said he found a
solution for this:

http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension_talk:Semantic_Forms#BUG:_question_marks_instead_of_Cyrillic_in_Uploading_filename

I think whether this works, though, depends on one's PHP/MySQL
configuration, or something like that.
